About me

Hello, welcome to my home bakery! My name is Kris, and I love to bake! I decided to start my own small business so that I can bake even more often, and share lovely sweet treats with as many people as possible. 

I've been baking for years, first as a hobby, then I started baking for nurses on the Covid ward (who I work with) during the pandemic. My colleagues gave me good feedback about my cakes so I kept baking for them after the pandemic. I baked cakes for the Sunflower Cafe at Bilton Hall in Jarrow, as a volunteer, from February to September 2026.

I work part time for the NHS on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I can make and deliver baked goods from Saturday to Tuesday. I would prefer at least one weeks notice of the date that you would like your order if possible. That will give me time to get the ingredients and for us to arrange it to get to you.

I tend to make and sell bakes in batches (eg for parties, buffets or events) but I can be flexible and I'm sure with your help I can develop a really good business. Thank you!
